Our Professionals

Quality care begins with our Comfort Keepers, our carefully selected and trained caregivers. Before candidates can become Comfort Keepers they:

  • Undergo a rigorous interview with multiple staff members.
  • Have a thorough background check conducted including credit, criminal and driving.
  • Provide current personal and professional references.

Caregivers

Each Comfort Keeper is an employee, which means she/he is insured, bonded, and covered by Workers' Compensation. Each franchised office bears all payroll responsibilities, including the appropriate payroll withholdings. In so doing, we eliminate many of the risks associated with the hiring of independent contractors or from registry organizations.

Bringing Quality Care Home

Finding and training the best possible Comfort Keepers is essential to delivering quality care to each of our clients. Our initial training program is one of the best in the industry and is a combination of one-on-one and web-based training. We train to the applicable state licensure requirements and every employee is educated and trained in compliance with the HIPAA. We also provide continuing education for Comfort Keepers on topics such as care for dementia clients and other disease-specific topics. We take special care to assure clients' comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Comfort Keepers Caregivers

We understand and recognize the importance of trust and compassion when needing assistance for a loved one. For that reason, we hire only the most caring and compassionate caregivers in the Grand Strand region.
